Sidr honey is made from the flowers of the wild jujube tree (Ziziphus lotus, “sedra” in Morocco), a thorny shrub of the dry plains. It flowers for only a few weeks at the start of summer, and the bees turn its nectar into one of the most appreciated honeys in Morocco and the whole Arab world.

Taste and texture

Golden amber, thick and creamy, with notes of caramel and dates and a long, soft finish. It is the honey people choose for guests, weddings and gifts.

How we work

Our hives are placed near wild jujube areas during the flowering. We only harvest the frames the bees have capped, so the honey is ripe and naturally stable, then we pot it raw.

Why you will love it

  • 100% pure Sidr
  • Only capped, ripe frames
  • Raw: never heated
  • Perfect gift for guests
